Mid-Week
STUDENTS
Our geography means that we have a lively student ministry. In addition to our student services on a Sunday, we host student Growth Groups mid-week, campus evangelism, occasional hot topic evenings and a number of annual student missions and conferences.
GROWTH GROUPS
Because we are a growing church, we value organising into smaller communities. We call these communities Growth Groups. They exist for community, care and growth in our understanding of the bible. Led by mature Christians, they follow the sermon series with a deeper dive into the passage preached. We have groups in various areas and at various times during the week. We also have ladies-only groups, morning groups, and a men’s group that meets at 6 on Friday morning.
YOUTH
Our High Schoolers are important to us. We cater for them on Friday nights at church, with a team trained in child safety and bible teaching. There is also a youth growth group on Sunday afternoon from 4–5pm.
CHILDREN
Children’s ministry is a priority for us. We have a well-run children’s church which runs concurrently with our 9am Sunday service. In addition, there are Friday afternoon kids’ clubs and a mid-year holiday club. These are all run by leaders trained in child safety and bible handling.
PARTNERSHIP
In a commitment averse society, we think it is healthy for Christians to formally belong to a local church, where they consistently attend, serve and give financially. We have a pathway into Partnership, which starts with a 6 week course called Joining In.
